Tennis in Uriage-les-Bains

Located in the Parc d’Uriage, the club enjoys a remarkable location just a stone’s throw from the thermal baths. It offers 5 traditional clay courts, renowned for their quality, which is identical to that of the Roland Garros courts.

There are also 4 resin courts in the village of Saint-Martin-d’Uriage, 2 of which are floodlit for evening play.

Uriage-les-Bains is the only traditional clay court in the whole of the Grenoble region.

Everyone can choose the formula that suits them best:

Year-round membership to take full advantage of all the facilities
Hourly or monthly hire, ideal for occasional or seasonal use

The Tennis Club d’Uriage runs a dynamic tennis school, supervised by Sébastien Deridder, a former professional player. Lessons are adapted to all levels and ages, with 120 young students trained each year, and 80 adults.

During the sessions, depending on each player’s level, they can improve their technique or simply play tennis for fun…

The club organises regular events throughout the year:

• Courses during the school holidays for children and adults
• Individual lessons to help you progress at your own pace
• Competitions for all levels, from beginner to ranked player
• Events and demonstrations throughout the year, so you can share in the excitement of the sport.

In July, the international ITF World Tour Uriage Eau Thermale tournament welcomes professional players from 37 different nations. Renowned as the finest clay-court tennis tournament in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, entry is free and open to all.

With its club house in the Parc d’Uriage, the Tennis Club is a real place to meet and talk about the sport. In its own way, it plays an active part in local life and is committed to quality, both in its facilities and in its coaching.
