From Grenoble

 By public transport

From Grenoble city centre, take tram line B to the Gières-Gare Universités stop.

From here, there are several bus routes to Uriage-les-Bains:

Route 23: Gières – Vizille
Route 69: Gières – Belmont
Route 88: Gières – Saint-Martin-d’Uriage / Pinet d’Uriage
Route N93: Grenoble – Chamrousse (with a stop at Uriage)

 Carpooling

You can use local platforms that offer car-sharing solutions to get to Uriage, such as MOV’ICI.

A special daily car-sharing service is also available through M covoit’ Lignes+. It runs between Saint-Martin-d’Uriage and Saint-Martin-d’Hères and does not require booking. Passengers can make a request :

Take the Grenoble Rocade Sud, then exit at junction 2 towards Chamrousse, Gières and Uriage. The road quickly takes you to the heights, with a pleasant drive into the heart of the valley.

From other regions

 By train

Grenoble SNCF station is the main arrival point for travellers from all over France. From the station :

  • Take tram B to Gières-Gare Universités
  • Then take one of the M Réso 23, 69 or 88 buses to Uriage.

For all travellers, including those from Savoie or Geneva, Grenoble-Universités – Gières station is the best alternative.

Thereare three airports within easy reach of the Uriage region:
