Walks family-friendly

For visitors looking for a moment of relaxation in the heart of nature, there are a number of routes offering easy access, unobstructed views and little change in altitude. These routes are perfect for a family outing or a stroll in the shade of the trees:

  • Circuit du Marais: a short 2.5 km loop around the Marais des Seiglières, in a peaceful woodland setting. The route runs alongside a pond in the heart of a sensitive natural site.
  • Circuit des Curistes: starting from the spa park, this 6.2km walk passes through the residential areas of Uriage and follows the banks of the Vernon, in a bucolic atmosphere.
  • Circuit des Remparts: a 3km walk to discover Uriage and its panoramas, between nature and historical remains

Trails panoramic views

Although not overly demanding, some of the routes reward walkers with superb views of the surrounding massifs, including the Vercors, Chartreuse and Belledonne:

  • Circuit des Écoliers: a pleasant 6km route linking a number of hamlets and offering stunning mountain views.
  • Circuit du Bit: a 9km hike along the slopes of Belledonne, admiring the scenery of Saint-Martin-d’Uriage from the heights.
  • Circuit des Crêtes: a beautiful 9.5km loop linking several villages, with uninterrupted views and alternating forested and open terrain.

A variety of routes through forest, vineyard and meadow

Several loops take in contrasting landscapes, with woodland, farmland and village edges:

  • Circuits du Roux: two variants of 5 and 7 km, alternating between urban areas, country paths and woodland close to the village.
  • Circuit du Balcon de Combeloup: an 11km route that starts in the Champ-Ruti vineyards before taking in the wild ridges of Combeloup.
  • Circuit des Vignasses: a sporty 4km route starting from the village, perfect for a fast, energetic climb.
